During these years, change is the norm, and we of the Middle School faculty and staff embrace that change. Every day, we witness inspiring transformations: the seventh grader intimidated by math becomes a class leader when she suddenly grasps eighth grade algebra; the eighth grader who never heard of lacrosse emerges as a starting midfielder; the sixth grader reluctant to speak up in class finds a new voice in front of the audience in the Middle School play or his public speaking class.
Students must continue to build foundations of academic, athletic, and aesthetic excellence, while also strengthening those elements that constitute their core values. To that end, we carefully provide the most effective balance of challenge, fun, and support to help each child find their way, under the careful guidance and personal attention of our dedicated teachers.
Continuing the work of a dedicated Lower School faculty; we give our Middle School students worthy challenges so that they recognize and strive for excellence. That expectation of excellence guides our students toward a fulfilling academic, social, and emotional adulthood.
